My favorite thing about living in Durango is the opportunity to explore the Southwest and go on adventures with my husband Jack and our three kiddos, Sutton (10), Elliot (8), and Deacon (7). When I’m not hiking, watching movies, or skiing with my family, I like to socialize with friends, travel, and take naps.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Texas Christian University (TCU), and a Master’s degree in Secondary Education, also from TCU. I am certified to teach Early Childhood through 6th grade and Grades 6-12 Social Studies in Colorado and Texas.
My most recent professional development endeavors have included Montessori, Inquiry, and Mindfulness training.
The most satisfying part of teaching is building relationships with the kids and helping them explore and express their curiosity with our world! I’m so excited to spend the year with your child!
