Get your Pumpkins!

Earth Farm at James Ranch (and family at TJS) has about a dozen jack o' lantern pumpkins left just in time for Halloween! Heather will have them available for a Juniper family discount after school on the front lawn after school today. Their farm endured a lot of challenges this summer between fires, flash flooding with mud slides and then drought conditions. It was amazing that any pumpkins survived and these are the last of those beauties! Thank you for supporting one of our fellow families.

Reminder About Student IDs

Dear 9-R Families,

Initial student photos have been completed at all schools, allowing schools to fully implement the use of student IDs for other purposes such as:

School Bus Transportation Services
School Library Use
City Transit Use
Safety and Security

Starting Monday, October 22, IDs are required for all district bus services, including regular bus route services and field trips. Your student should ensure that they have their ID, or that the lost ID is reported to the school office ASAP for replacement.

Student IDs

Students will be issued IDs again this year. New 2018/19 IDs will be distributed following your school’s Fall picture day. IDs issued last year should be used in lieu of the new IDs until the new photos and IDs are produced. These IDs are important for safety and security, allow access to bus transportation services, can be used with City Transit and are required for school library use.
